Even if it was dismissed, there remains an initial arrest/complaint that is of record.  Fingerprints  probably around 80.00 plus the expungement filing (under 100.00)  The record is permanent.  I just did this process.  The expungement is at the records office.  Just ask for it  Hope I helped

Well if the case has been dismissed, and there were no convictions, your best bet is to hire an attorney. It might take time and money but it's well worth your name being cleaned.
