Compare And Contras The Two Models For The American Criminal Justice System: The Crime Control Model And The Due Process Model. Which Aspect Of The System Do You Believe Is More Effective? Why?

Two completely different areas here and neither has the exact same objective in mind. The crime control model is exactly as it says, create the perfect model for the prevention of crime in the world while the Due Process model is dealing with making the legal system (after the crime) a better system for dealing with persons accused of committing crimes and sentencing. Now rougher sentences could obviously be a deterrent to crime but under our current system this is a joke and our penal system actually allows provides most prisoners with a better life than the one they had on the outside. We need a better crime prevention system than e have now
