Yes if this were a minor crime they would be released within 24 hours to wait for a court date or they would receive a caution however if it were a big crime they would be remanded in custody until a further court hearing which if also refused bail could be a very long time indeed a solicitor would have the best idea as to what to expect here

Depends on the crime. Usually about 24-48 hours before a judge and to see a lwyer. But also depends on which country or province

It depends on the crime, possibly up to a month

In some cases/states they keep you for at least twenty four hours,its different in every place,sometimes however they will keep you longer if you've done serious crime
