I am a single mother so I'm going to give you my advice, if he has not contacted you to see how the baby is while your caring then he doesn't care, during pregnancy is the most important part because that is when the child is developing! If he is not on Birth certificate then he would have to take you to court to prove that it is his to get any kinds of rights as long as you don't take him for support. Its hard to go without support, trust me I do it but sometimes its for the best depending on the situation! If he hasn't contacted you and he isn't on birth certificate then he has no rights as long as you were not married! Keep your head up, things will get easier!

If the baby is not born yet he has every right to be part of the child's life when it is.Any issue you have with him you need to resolve . You got to think about grandma ,grandpa, aunt, uncle, they have nothing to do with your problems.

It's true that if you are not married and he's not on the birth certificate or paying child support, then LEGALLY he has no right. But as long as you don't see him as unfit to be around the child you really don't want to push him out of your child's life. Maybe he has made mistakes and hasn't been there for you when he should have been but if he's willing to be there for the child and would be a good influence on him and not portray any harm then he needs to be a part of the child's life and should be. You don't want your child to grow up resenting you because you never allowed him to have a relationship with his own father. It takes two to make a baby and no matter what a piece of paper says or doesn't say, the child is his blood and they both deserve to have each other.
