Go to the city hall and they'll transport your birth certificate from your state trust I know b/ci was from colorado and the shipped it to me in new jersey it's just the payment varies from how fare the state is from you (if farther more money)
For a copy of it go to some where that might have a copy of it. Such as if you are on government assistance they may have a copy they can give you. For an original you will have to contact the state that she was born in the Vital Statistics Dept. And they will charge. They will also to charge to get it sent if you can't pick it up. Not a way to get one free that I am aware of even the very first one you get after they are born usually cost about 15 dollars or so at least.
If in daycare school health department shot records
If where your daughter was born is the same town you live in, you go to the Courthouse where you live and you'll have to pay for it from the County Clerk's office. If she was born in a different place where you live, you will have to contact them and find out what information they will need for you to provide in order to get the certificate. They should be able to mail it to you. Either way, it is going to cost you. The cost varies from place to place. I had to pay 5 dollars for a copy of my daughter's birth certificate where I live.
