You can get the copy of your birth certificate free of cost from the hospital where you were born. So you can easily get your birth certificate and you do not need to pay for the birth certificate. Well you need to go to the hospital and ask the management of the hospital to issue you a birth certificate by checking the records that if your birth registration is there then you can get your birth certificate from the hospital so you can easily find your birth certificate from the hospital where you born.

Usually the hospital maintains the records of the children who born in the hospital so you can get your birth certificate by your name which was registered at the time of birth in the hospital. There was also the mother and father name so you can confirm whether it is your birth certificate or someone else's so this is the way you can easily find the birth certificate free of cost. There are some other ways as well like the court if you require a birth certificate for the proof in some legal matter you can make your birth certificate from the court very easily.

The federal government does not provide copies of birth certificates, marriage licenses, divorce decrees, death certificates, or any other personal vital records. Copies of birth certificates and other personal vital records can only be obtained from the state or US possession where the documents were originally filed, or here: ICheck. Most states provide a centralized source from which birth certificates and other vital records can be ordered.

Each state and US possession has its own set of rules and fees for ordering certified birth certificates on other vital records. Rules, ordering instructions and fees for all 50 states, the District of Columbia and all US possessions can be found on the Where to Write for Vital Records web page, helpfully maintained by the US Centers for Disease Control.

Hospitals do NOT issue official birth certificates - those are issued by the state. Copies are only available by request and you will receive one with the embossed state stamp on them. The "certificate" you get from the hospital when you deliver a baby is simply a statement from the hospital confirming the birth of a child, but it is not acceptable for getting a marriage license, for using in court, for getting a birth certificate, and usually not for schools either. Sorry!

That all depends upon the hospital.  There are no hard fast rules for that.   The hospital may provide one freebie, but if not it would be a nominal fee.  Call the hospital and ask for the records department.  That way you can get the correct information which is specific to your hospital.

You cannot get a FREE copy of your birth certificate.  You must contact the Office of Vital Statistics in the county (not the city) in which you were born.  Ask for instructions for getting a CERTIFIED copy of your original birth certificate and the charges for this service.

Sorry about your troubles love, but you also have to pay for your birth certificate. If memory serves me correctly, you also need  the certificate and a piece of I.D. Hope this helps, good luck to you. Oh and 45.00 for two weeks, you are being taken.

You could take your Mom to court for it.  It will depend on how old you are, like if you are over 18 then yes.  But if you are under 18 then she cannot kick you out of the house.
