I believe you can get licensed in fl for cosmetology. I know of a woman who took cosmetology while in state prison. That would tell me a convicted felon can get licensed or otherwise the prison wouldnt offer the training!

My son has a felony and he is currently going to cosmetology school to get his license so that he can be a barber.
I have not found anything stating that a felon cannot have a cosmetology license. I am looking for this same information for Washington State.
