Hello, I live in New York, My mother passed away 4 months ago, she adopted my cousin at the age of three month, she is now 16. I filed for temporary guardianship. Between the time I filed up until now, the 16 year old went buck wild on me(running away, skipping school, she was doing these things when my mother was here, but not as bad). How do I terminate my guardianship. Please help me, I thought I was doing the right thing trying to keep things as normal for her, but she does not appreciate what I have done, I'm only 23.
