I think that the way the law is today the police are capable of doing just about everything yesterday an sheriff came out to serve me eviction notice and nearly broke down my door cause I wouldnt answer so yea I believe that if they have an way of finding out where you work that they can if I were you go ahead and tel your coworkers or manager what is going on that way when the police come to your job you wont look like an criminal
