My Landlord Wont Fix My Boiler So I Have No Hot Water Or Heating And I Have 4 Kids What Should I Do?

My landlord wont fix my boiler I have no hot water and  only hd heating for 2 weeks this year what should I do

You can check online or call  your city government concerning the Landlord tenant laws for your area.
  In some city's, the law states that the landlord must provide heat to the dwelling for their tenants.
  If this is the case, you can register a complaint and the landlord will be served notice to fix the problem. If he does not make the necessary repairs in a timely manner, he can be fined so much per day until the repairs are made.

Call your local Neighborhood services or Building Inspection or Housing Authority, or the City Heating/Plumbing Inspector for your city. The heating Inspector should be in the same building as the Building Inspector.  They will make him fix the problem right away since it is a major problem and especially when you have children. In wisconsin, it is illegal not to have heat this time of year. If you can afford it, get it fixed yourself and deduct it from the rent. In the mean time still contact the people listed above cause I am sure there are more things wrong at your place. Things that you are not aware of. The inspectors find things wrong that may look ok to you. Anyways, call them and I bet he will get hit with more than 10 code violations.

I have no hot water or no boiler for nearly 3 weeks its redicilous, my landlords are taking so long in sorting it ive had 2 different workman on 2 different occasions saying a need new pump and cicuit board my emmersion don't even work, I'm having to stay at my mums friday to sunday bak for childrens school, got enviroment health envolved last week and they are serving a notice on them today, this aint no good to me, I have with held the rent but citizins advice told me this is illegal and they could serve me a notice if I don't pay erm help
