I am so sorry to hear of your troubles. Sometimes renting is the best solution for awhile. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has rental programs and housing programs, as well. Have you contacted resources through Hospice, or the Ronald McDonald House? St. Jude's Hospital or Shriner's Hopital for Children? Use these resources to seek a solution to your dilemma. If your troubles are medically driven, there are resources... it just takes energy, which I am sure you have little to spare, to seek out those resources. If you are managing with your rent right now, stay there for awhile until you can stabilize another area in your life. Make a pact with yourself that you will not make a new change until one problem is brought to a stable place or resolved. Limit yourself on the decisions you must make. Simplify your life. If you can pay your rent, then rent. If you have to go to the laundry mat rather than have a washer and dryer, then so be it. One issue. One day. At a time.

Hey, sorry to hear about what has happen in your life thus far; however, have you tried to get asst. from job and family service (welfare)? They might be able to help your medical bills. Another great way to buy a house is allcreditsconsidered.com see if they are available in your area. They are a great way to buy a home, or rent to own, is another way. Hop this helps, may God bless.
