Their should already be a set amount that you owe. So are you saying your trying to make a deal and lower that amount... I think that's ok within reason. Remember she raised them without your financial help, if you are just know settling, after their grown and gone.. She deserves every penny. Being mom and dad is hard..cudos for wanting to pay up..
