My husband was in a correctional facility in MN and was being mistreated and I wrote to the congressman for that county and I also called them, they came and inspected the facility on a surprise visit. I sent emails and called everyone that I knew of in the state,(Governor, all the congressman, the DOC heads, t.v. Stations and attorneys). It did help my husband out and also a few other inmates. I have done this numerous times in the different facilities that my husband has been transfered too.
