What Happens If You Get Caught Stealing?

I got caught stealing a roll of toilet paper can I apply for unemployment

You go to jail or you get locked up.

You will get into trouble.

You can get banned from the shop, and receive a fine if the goods are damaged or lost whilst in your possession, If you don't pay the Fine then the store can file claims against you which will lead to a court sesion- If you fail to arrive you will be locked up and wait another sesion in court, which they will then decide if you sould be let off with a slapped wrist, If the court thinks you deserve more punishment (this can depend on what you stole and where from) you can be put in a young offenders prison (If you are under 16) or Normal prison for a max of about 4 months. If you are unable to pay the fine you will be sent on to do community support. If you disobay your ban from that shop or any from that brand, the store can prosicute.

For example, if you get caught robbing a bank, it depends how much money you take. If you take $1000, you will go to prison for about 3 years and if you take $500 or less you go to jail for about 1 year.

My dad said if you get caught stealing from the wrong person you'll be at the bottom of the ocean with a pair of cement shoes
