I'm 17 & have to go to court. Do my parents have to go? Or can I just take myself?

At any age ... You can not stop your parents from going to court, if that is what your asking. At 17 you are a minor, and your parents will most likely be required to be there.

I wouldn't have even thought about showing up at traffic court without my parents at that age. You are a minor and cannot make any legal decisions without them. So yes they need to be there. If you are trying to hide something from them, I suggest you stop now. The later they find out the worse it will be,
