Is it assault if you participate in sex only because you felt threatened, but agreed to it? I cried the whole time. It wasn't something I wanted, but needed him to leave me alone and didn't think he ever would unless I had sex.

Yes, if you report it immediately. And don't shower so you can take a rape test !

As everyone has already said, call the police. You did not agree to sex, you were coerced, and that is assault. Stop this scum before he does it to someone else. Also contact a support group. Talking to someone who has been there can be a great help. Here is a hotline number, (800) 656-HOPE(4673) or check out this website, they have online help. https://ohl.rainn.org/online/

Contact the police.

However ... You don't say you said "no" ... Just that you wanted him to leave you alone.  That could mean anything from him stalking you - to just wanting to hang around you, as an innocent crush.

If you never said "no", and were able to, it will be more difficult to prosecute for rape.

If you ever feel pressured into having sex it's wrong.  You say you cried the whole time, did this not make any impression on this man?  Go to the police immediately because the next time he wants sex from a girl he may use violence instead of intimidation and that girl may be you.

CALL THE POLICE YOU ARE IN DANGER!
