Can a 15 year old leave and stay with their grandparents without their parent's permission?

No. This is considered running away from home. The law states that a minor child aged 14 and older (sometimes as young as 12) can decide what parent they want to live with BUT, you must go to court and tell a judge why you want to leave the parent that you currently live with. As far as moving in with your grandparents, the same law applies. However, it is called divorcing your parents. Do you really want to divorce your parents?

No, this is construed as a runaway  for which you and your Grandparents could get into legal trouble here so I strongly advice against this. Now if your Parents were to give your Grandparents written and notorized permission, then it would work.  Good luck
