It's Anime for paedophiles and I'm against that period. Anime and Manga is meant to be an enjoyable and intellectual form of Japanese literature and exploiting it and sullying it is beyond crossing over the line. It's supposed to be regulated by the law in Japan, but not strictly enough in my opinion.
It's ill founded by greedy individuals. It is not protected by the 1st ammendment in the U.S. Just not enforeceable over the web. Anyone with a paper copy can be charged with possession of child pornography in the U.S. As with many other despicaple sites to find on the www, like how to make a bomb, how to get fake I.d.'s, how to make a gun...etc., this latest item of attention will be hard to regulate. Sad but true. It has not been researched by any authority to show that usage of the site has "cut down" on sexual abuse against children-in any country. Propaganda abounds of course. But it's false propaganda. Allowing anyone to view, indulge, participate in any site that promotes the sexual abuse in any form, should be strictly regulated, those of sexual abuse against a child should be forbidden.
My older brother was big on it, and it sure didn't reduce his drive for the real thing. If anything it would wet his appetite and then he'd want it more. He would maybe spend more time fantasizing about it before hand because of the comics, but I think it made it worse. I for one hate the things. To me it's a way of telling people that pedophilia is ok. Kinda sick.
