When a child is born and he is taken into the arms of his parents , the parent never aspires that his child would be a gangster . With the course of time the child is imparted with all kinds of virtues that the parent can give . He is taught all good behaviour , good manners etc. He is never trained to be a criminal . But still the people with the influence of the society , circumstances and bad company his mind gets accumulated with all kinds of devilish ideas , he loses all the moralities and gets tempted towards the dark world . He stars committing heinous crimes and deserves punishment for it . Now coming to the under privileged children who have lost their parents in some or the other kinds of mishaps and do not get any room where they can be taught some virtues . For them during the punishment time they must be sent to schools  and given some spiritual education . So I strongly recommend that anybody committing acrime must be punished abiding by the honorary court of law  and the crime committed by the person . But during the punishment time they must be also rehabed because punishing is not the only solution rather it will make them more tough towards the virtuesof the society . Now coming to the major question that is whether these people are wicked or not . It actually depends upon the crime that they commit . If its a rape , child molestation or murders then they are wicked but if its terrorism then their  proper cunciling must be done and then decided .

Yes they do. We are taught  from an early age what is right and what is wrong. There are laws that protect us from people who steal, kill or do other things that hurt us. That's while some form of punishment is needed to show a criminal it is wrong to do bad things.

I say they should be punished but while being punished they should also be rehabilatated because just warehousing them is not doing anyone any good and they is the reason for so many repeats, they stay in the jails and prisons and just get hardened, but then the jails and prisons are there as money makers from the state in which they are located, so unless the people of the said state speak up, it will stay that way and the punishment should fit the crime...the best to you

I believe that no one is a criminal by his/her birth. Its the situations that makes one a criminal.
And so they must not be given severe punishment but still they must be punished according to the offence charged on him.

If you commit a crime you should pay for it accordingly & in full! However, once the debt is paid let it go. Its like paying off a debt but still having the debt collector hounding you.

No they should not be given chance each time . They may misuse the given chances after all they are criminals. The word itself means - doing something that can harm the society or even more the whole world

According to me I disagree with the sentence because no man by birth is a criminal. Their circumstances force them to do what their heart never wills. Their circumstances can be anything it can be due to poverty, ailments or shortage of food. As in the drama bishops candlesticks the convict steals to save his wife from suffering which he never wanted to do. But there was no way other than stealing. But after stealing as by his luck he was caught. And the punishment given to him was too big for his shoes. This was just an example. Imagine how many people in this world would be suffering like this. Instead of understanding the pros and cons of the prisoner he is chained and whipped behind the bars. After a great suffering in the jail they just convert the criminals into a wild beast. Criminals are also human beings and they need to be consulted. No man is born great and no man is a criminal. They want to get work but there is no employment for them because of shortage of wealth & bad reputation. Society should treat them like normal people. They should be consulted and given a job. People are the future. People should change the world. In this generation by stealing or by lazing around there is no escape. They have to be preached in a certain manner.

I think they don't desrve punishment becoz
they must have done it under some forcing circumstances
in everybody there is a living god noone is a born criminal
it is not necessary that with punishment they would change their ways
instead of being sentenced they should sent 2 vocational schools
crime is 2 be hated not the criminal
we will keep on finishing and they will keep on growing
punishment will develop feeling of revenge in them
!@#$%^A&*

Of course they deserve whatever punishment that is given & should deal with it like a grownup not a whiny child. However, once they have paid their dues it is past & done so it should be left alone.

Yes, criminals deserve punishment for their crime. Certain situations may warrant a second chance but for the most part, let the punishment fit the crime.

Yes,criminals should be punished. Until what point of time will we keep forgiving criminals. I think because of this forgiving nature only, there is probably no one now, who is afraid of commiting a crime.
