I have been renting a place for over a year.I was told that the leak in the ceiling would be fixed. It never was. I'm moving and I didn't pay April's rent we are going to court. What are my chances.

It does not matter what state you live in. No tenant can force you to move, remove your things, or threaten you without going through the court system. My advice to you is to talk to the landlord to see if he will allow you to stay if the rent is paid. If the answer is no, or you have no intentions of paying the rent, the landlord then must file with the court system to evict you. Until the judge in the court tells you that you are evicted, you don't have to go anywhere, especially in the winter months and with a young child.
