To check the validity of your Saudi Arabian Residence Permit, otherwise known as your IQAMA, you will need to log on to the Ministry of Interior website at www.moi.gov.sa
Upon your arrival to Saudi Arabia, you will be issued with your IQAMA in the form of an identity card. This should be valid for one or two years, depending on which format you have chosen.
If you are a residence in Saudi Arabia as part of an employment contract, then the company that is employing you should be able to sort out your IQAMA and its renewal, should renewal be necessary.
If you are working outside of Saudi Arabia, then you will be expected to pay to receive the IQAMA. This will cost roughly between 3,000 ($800) and 7,000 ($1,866) Riyals and this will include insurance as well as your residency.
