I vote for major prison time and public humiliation via the stocks. I really want to throw rotten fruits and vegetables at his sorry self!

Life in prison ! That's pretty bad ! How rotten can people be ? An 84 year old woman? That's about as sad as they come. 20 years at the least so when he/she gets out, they will be old and see how they like it.

For someone so calous and dispicable .. There are many forms of punishment that could be deemed appropriate .. But, sadly .. The legal system doesn't work that way.

Other than physical harm.....I think they need to lose their most prized posession.

I am sorry that happened to your mother-in-law. And I hope you can recover the ring.

Thats what is called a good old jail beatdown. Ten guys in a cell just kicking and beating on the scumbag for an hour should do it
