What would be an appropriate penalty for someone who stole a 63 year old engagement ring from an 84 year-old woman, knowing that she was currently in hospital fighting cancer?
He deserves a beating and all the fingers in both hands broken with a hammer.
Life in prison ! That's pretty bad ! How rotten can people be ? An 84 year old woman? That's about as sad as they come. 20 years at the least so when he/she gets out, they will be old and see how they like it.
For someone so calous and dispicable .. There are many forms of punishment that could be deemed appropriate .. But, sadly .. The legal system doesn't work that way.
That's terrible Ray....makes me sick....pull his fingernails off with pliers, maybe he'll never be able to pick up anything again. So sorry to hear this.
Other than physical harm.....I think they need to lose their most prized posession.
