Yep. My life is worth more than money. I'm insured for the money.

Yes!! First thing I was taught in retail sales. Somebody points a weapon at you and says "this is a robbery" YOU say YES SIR! What do you want!  Cause your life is worth more than all the money in the store. You do as he asks. And then when he is gone, you call the police.

Totally depends on the situation.

But as much as possible noway! No, i'm not type of person to scare of guns or knives or some screams and creepy made looks that easily,  i don't scare of death and i won't never let anyone take something from me by force. If they come and just ask me that they really need it and explain me their situation, i will help them, but force and try to be scary ? Oh man . . Please  .. .

And they wanna shoot ? Well i gotta say, shooting someone else needs something that some people don't have, they just learnt the style, it'll gonna be a good challenge to see who can handle the pressure more.

Plus my strength in taking pain is damn high! Even if be the weakest  i won't just sit back that easily. Never.

And also be sure if i have a good business, then there gonna be a chance of robbery and i won't keep a good business without a good security line ups.

Just remember, a bullet in the head causes no pain, just instant death.

For me letting someone imagine they can be scary or powerful and walk somewhere and try to rob . . .that hurts more. you imagine 1 % i let them do walk out with my money. they request, i give, they force and try to be scary ? it's a big big LOL.

trivia ... the last report I saw from the FBI regarding shootouts between armed civilians (including police) ... the most common wound was in the arms. This was due to the fact your arms are in front of your chest (2-handed stance) - and most people train to shoot at the chest (if they train at all).

I believe that is what is suggested when someone is armed and attempting to rob you.  THAT is exactly why most retail stores limit the amount of cash in their tills to reduce that kind of loss.  They will work with a minimum amount in the till, and make several withdrawls during a shift to reduce money collected, and put that money in a safe for safer keeping.

Depends on the situation.

The last sales job I worked, the owner kept a snub-nosed revolver in the cash drawer ... Not visible from the customer side of the counter.  Before working the register, every employee had to take the local "concealed carry" course - for firearms safety and laws regarding self-defense.  >  But he also told us the money wasn't worth our lives.

I have worked retail and in banking. I was always instructed to give them the money and get them out as quickly as possible. You most likely aren't talking just about your own safety, but that of customers' as well. For me the same would be true if it were my own business.
