Keep a count of them.
I keep my nail varnishes in a line on a shelf... how do I know if someone has stolen one?
By counting how many you have and writing the number down somewhere. Then all you have to is count them and if one or more is gone, then start asking who took it.
Look for a hole in the line. If one is missing there will be an empty space where it was.
