Ok so I've been getting bullied for 3 years by gang members that think I'm in the opposite gang, but I'm not! And I'm starting to think they are going to kill me, so how do I stop this? Should I tell the cops?

For some reason they think you're in a gang, is it because the way you act or dress? Maybe even the way you talk?  If you dress like a thug people will think you're one. Or maybe it's the people you choose to be around and call your friends?

If you think any of these could be the reason, then I'd suggest change and to stay away from thugs.  Try to avoid the places the gang hangs out at.

If they have directly threatened you take it to officials.

Make sure you tell someone. Family or friend.

Good luck. Stay safe.

This sounds like a dangerous circumstance to find yourself in, and I would recommend seeking advice from someone who understands the specific gang and challenges in your specific area.

The problem with reaching out to the police is that most gangs take a dim view of people who speak to the police about their activities.

And if the police don't have enough evidence to take appropriate action or able to invest resources in keeping you safe, then it's possible that you could find yourself in even more danger!

Having said that, you have every right to feel safe and unbothered walking around, and  it's absolutely right that you do something about it.

My suggestion would be to contact someone anonymously at first, to try and get more information about your options in this matter.

Most police forces, especially in the United States, have dedicated services for people that want to report gang-related crime. And they should have expert advisors who will be able to tell you how to best handle this situation.

You should get out of the gang, clean your life up and stay away from all trouble. Them gangs are no good to be in - that is big trouble.
