There are two things that are certain in life, death and taxes. On a less morbid note; life is a journey and not a destination. Enjoy each moment along the way, don't hold a grudge and in the words of Baz Luhrmann, use sun screen. Your future will be bright. :-)

Yes, your date of birth has no direct impact on how your future will turn out. The best thing you can do is work hard, stay positive, and be nice to those around you - and hopefully good things will come your way naturally.

How unfair would the world be if we were simply predestined for failure or success depending on what day we were born?

It would almost remove any need to behave well or work hard, as one could attribute any success to fate and chance, and nothing else.

It's wishful thinking, and you're better off taking destiny into your own hands here.
