All it takes is a quick Google search and a few websites such as Checkr and GoodHire would pop out which will allow you to run a check on yourself. People usually do this when they have a job interview and want to ensure nothing out of the ordinary comes up. You can also do your own background check on someone by accessing the state’s public criminal records.
In the UK, pretty much the same applies to individuals who want to run background checks on themselves, although you can’t run a background check on somebody else unless you’re an employer doing this as part of the vetting process for employment. Employers can use sites such as ClearCheck.co.uk and EBCGlobal.co.uk to run background checks on potential job candidates.
