If you were born on January the 13th 1983 you would be:

997,833,600 seconds old! (And counting)
16,630,560 minutes old!
277,176 hours old!
11,549 days old!
1,649.857 weeks old!

and of course in the more conventional format - 31 years, 7 months and 14 days old!

How long will I live?

The average life expectancy in the UK (as of 2012) was 81.5 and rising, as this is an average (including both unhealthy and healthy people) showing that with a healthy life style you can live longer, much longer in fact! The people dying today were born around 80 years ago! If you were born today (unlikely if you're reading this) you'd have a considerably longer life span than those born in the 1920'/1930's. Unfortunately simply being a man means you will live a shorter life than a woman, by around 3 years. Sorry lads. Those periods and child birth were worth it ladies!

Just looking at this graph you can see a steep incline, showing a growing life expectancy for both males and females.

How do I live longer?

Did you know imply eating a bacon sandwich a day can take 1 hour off your life expectancy! But luckily going for a jog can put an hour onto your life! It's the little things we do on a daily basis that add up. Here's 3 top tips!

1.
Drink water! Lots of it, our bodies are made of around 60% water, it's vital to function and being dehydrated can make your body function better and even aid you loose weight! Drinking plenty of water stops you overeating by helping to fill you stomach! So drink around 2-3 liters of water a day, I advise stocking up on pint glasses!

2. You are what you eat, seriously it's true, your body builds itself from what you eat so make sure its good! Plenty of fruit and vegetables will give you many benefits! The most nutritious fruits are: Watermelon, Apricots, Avocado, Apple, Cantaloupe, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Guava, Papaya, Strawberries. Eating fruits and vegetables should be natural to us, so eat a mix of fruit and veg! It's advised in the UK that we eat 5 day, however that number is considerably higher in other countries.

3. Exercise! Not just every week, every day! It's shown that daily exercise
can be extremely beneficial, even try running barefoot! Its
been show this can also be beneficial by exerting less stress on your
joints and feet, natural is always best you'll usually find!
